Emma Stone’s latest tweets on the #PizzaGate scandal and #Powersgategate were all about the sexual abuse of children.
The star of Disney’s The Avengers tweeted on Thursday that she’s a victim of sexual abuse, and also that she has been a victim herself.
“I’ve been sexually abused by many men.
Some were powerful, some were not.
Some of them were good friends, some not.
But I’m not the only one,” Stone wrote on Twitter.
“Some of my abusers have been friends with me, have known me for years.
They molested me, touched me, and even when I didn’t want it they would say it was because I was beautiful, or they were in love with me.”
She also said that she was a victim to pedophilia, but that the pedophiles who were “in the know” knew it and were “not going to do anything to stop it.”
“They knew I was a powerful person, and that I was an advocate for children.
They knew that my work with kids helped kids in need, so it’s easy for them to look the other way,” she added.”
But some of the predators were just predators.
And when I was abused, they were not just predators; they were predators who used the power of the media and the power that I had to convince them to take their victim and abuse me.”
While the actress did not explicitly mention PizzaGate in her tweet, she did mention that her abuser was a “good friend” of her.
“In the last few days I’ve been hearing a lot of stuff.
I’ve had a lot to process and a lot that I want to do.
I know I have to keep my head up, because I know the worst is yet to come,” she wrote.
“But I am a survivor and I am fighting for my kids, and I will not be silenced.”
While a tweet about the PizzaGate scandal did not appear on her tweets about Pizzagate, Stone has been very vocal about her support for Pizzagate.
In the wake of the #pizzagate scandal, Stone tweeted, “As a survivor of child abuse, I support the victims of Pizzaga.
#ProudToSupportYou.””
Proud to support the #victims of #pizzagates #proudmothers,” she also wrote on Thursday.
“The men in the #powergate who were just following the rules of #sexism.
But now we’re seeing #POWERSGATE.
I support women who have been abused and now #POWERGATE is spreading their abuse, so I’m also proud to support them.”
Stone’s tweets came just days after former President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn was charged with lying to investigators about his conversations with Russia’s ambassador to the US.
The charges are the latest in a long list of alleged misconduct by the Trump administration.
In her tweets on Thursday, Stone referred to the sexual assault of children in the wake to #Paxagate.
She also tweeted, “@PaxagatesPizza, if you know anyone who needs help, you can reach them.
It’s not easy.
But we can make this work.”
