A longtime Hollywood actress who was a favorite of President Donald Trump has become a thorn in his side as he struggles to regain popularity after the White House severed ties with her.
Sara Stone, 69, said she would like to remain in politics.
Trump is trying to make her a punching bag after she spoke out about sexual harassment allegations against former President Bill Clinton, but her political life has been under attack for her views on sexual assault and domestic violence.
Sara Stone has been the subject of a wave of hate-filled attacks from the president, but she says she has never experienced any of it.
“I’ve never had a single time that I’ve been attacked in the way that the president is attacking me,” she said.
“The only time that has ever happened is when I’ve done something that he disagrees with and that he felt it was a personal attack.
The last few months have been very tough for me, but I’m really enjoying it.
And I’m so grateful for the support that I have in this country and the people who have supported me.” “
And I’ve had the opportunity to go on a lot of good trips with my family and to do all of the things that I love.
And I’m so grateful for the support that I have in this country and the people who have supported me.”
In the wake of the Whitehouse decision, Trump tweeted, “I don’t need the help of a woman like Sara Stone.
She’s not a Democrat, and she doesn’t deserve the help from the Democrats.
She is just another liberal politician!”
In a Facebook post, Trump wrote that “there is no excuse” for Stone’s “horrific comments.”
Stone has said that she was raped by a former White House aide when she was in her early 30s.
Stone also has called for a special prosecutor to investigate allegations of sexual harassment and assault.
As Trump’s approval rating has plummeted to a new low, the president has struggled to regain favor with the public.
He has lost support among both conservatives and independents, who have grown increasingly critical of his handling of the opioid crisis and a crackdown on the black community.
Trump has also been criticized by the NAACP for his treatment of Black Lives Matter protesters and protesters of immigration reform.
