The new anime film is slated to open in Japan on December 9.
Diamond is the New Stone will be a sequel to Diamond Is the New Black, which was produced by director Riki Fukasaku and written by Tetsuya Kakihara.

Shōsō’s older sister, Takashi (Mio Akiyama), is a schoolgirl of Ichiro, a member of the criminal organization Diamond Is The New Black.
Diamond Is the Next New Black premiered in Japan, and was filmed in a new, large, and lavish location.
The story is told through flashbacks.
The movie’s cast is diverse, and the actors are known for their depth of character.
Yūjima was the most prominent character, but his performance in the film has been praised for being strong and compelling.
